Diphu : Government Lower Primary school teacher Pinkie Khataniar has been placed under suspension for negligence in duty. Pinkie Khataniar was serving as assistant teacher at Mokindur LP School in Chingthong locality of West Karbi Anglong district the action was taken on January 27 by the Primary Education Department of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council.

Pinkie Khataniar is daughter of Nripen Khataniar, now lives in Guwahati. She joined Mokindur LP School on 14th May 2022 declaring that she is permanent residence of Hamren Soi Ali, where her father formerly resided. Her attendance was almost nil since her joining.

Pinkie Khataniar was officially warned for her casual service and at some phase her salary was held up bet she remained adamant even after release of her salary; forcing the authority to take drastic action.
