Manipur : Two days science and technology exhibition was held at the National Institute of Technology, Manipur on the 1st & 2nd of February. The function was graced by Prof. Shivaji Chakravarty, Vice President of INAE as chief guest and guest of honor was Prof. S Venugopal, Director, of NIT Nagaland, and Prof. Dr. Goutam Sutradhar, Director, of NIT Manipur as the President.

Eighteen ideas or models were shortlisted and participated with a total member of 66 and 16 mentors. Various colleges and universities from Manipur, NIT Arunachal, and NIT Nagaland participated in the exhibition. The ideas and the models were focused on feasibility and market demand.
The demonstrated ideas or models were highly appreciated by the dignitaries and the judges. Prof. Sutradhar, Director of NIT Manipur informed that the objective of the exhibition is to promote the innovative ideas of the student as well as to encourage them for developing prototype models.
