Imphal: Imphal West police in association with 22 Assam Rifles detained three suspected militants on Wednesday and reportedly seized huge quantity of arms and ammunitions from their custody.

Security forces revealed the identity of all the accused– Thangneimang Khaute Vaiphei (63), Luntinsang Chongloi (33) and Lunsiamlen Vaiphei (19). During the course of interrogation they said that these arms and ammunitions were procured from Churachandpur.
