Maligaon : It has been decided to extend the service of special train between New Tinsukia and Dhubri for another three months in both directions. This extension will serve the purpose of passengers who travel frequently from upper Assam to lower Assam via north bank of Brahmaputra for work and medical emergency.
Accordingly, train no. 05922 (New Tinsukia – Dhubri) Special will depart from New Tinsukia at 14:30 hours on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 20 th August till 19 th November, 2023 to reach Dhubri at 04:30 hours on next day.
In return direction, train no. 05921 (Dhubri – New Tinsukia) Special will depart from Dhubri at 05:00 hours on every Wednesday, Friday and Monday from 21 st August till 20 th November, 2023 to reach New Tinsukia at 22:00 hours on the same day.
During it’s both ways journey, the special train will run via Dhemaji, Vishwanath Chariali, Udalguri, Rangiya Jn., Nalbari, Tihu, Pathsala, New Bongaigaon, Sapatgram and Gauripur stations. Consisting of 15 coaches, the train will have AC 3-tier, sleeper class and general second-class coaches for the passengers.
