A sculpture of Syu – Ka – Pha, creator of the Ahom realm was revealed at Diphu Syu – Ka – Pha Bhawan of Tai-Ahom Cultural Society, located at Dharamnala locality of the town on Sunday 5th May in the presence of people from all community and the Tai-Ahom community of Diphu.

The statue was unveiled by the president of Tai-Ahom Cultural Society Putul Chetia in the presence of the General Secretary of the Tai-Ahom Cultural Society Bikram Handique. The tall figurine of Syu–Ka–Pha in a sitting pose on a throne has been built at a cost of Rs. 1.5 lakh sponsored by Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council.
