Haflong : The Closing ceremony of the Summer Vacation Workshop 2023-24 was organised by the Cultural Affairs Department, Dima Hasao, Haflong in collaboration with the District Administration, Dima Hasao, Haflong at the Amphitheatre, Haflong Lake, Haflong, on Friday.

The Closing Ceremony was attended by Simanta Kr. Das, ACS, District Commissioner, Dima Hasao, all Addl. District Commissioners, Dima Hasao, all Assistant Commissioners, Dima Hasao, officials of Cultural Affairs Department, Dima Hasao, students, Principals, Heads, teachers of various participating schools of Dima Hasao District and many others.

In the programme, Simanta Kr. Das, ACS, delivered an address to the students and other audience mentioning the importance of the summer vacation workshop for overall and wholesome development of the young students and encouraged the widespread participation of the young students in the district.

The students performed various cultural activities in the program including traditional Dimasa Dance, Bihu dance, a short play on Lachit Borphukan etc. The winning students of various competitions were awarded during the program centrally by the District Commissioner, Dima Hasao and other officers.
