Haflong Ethnic Fusion is not just a celebration of music but also a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the region

Haflong : “The Haflong Ethnic Fusion” Amphitheatre at Haflong Lake was officially inaugurated by Chief Executive Member Dima Hasao Autonomous Council Debolal Gorlosa on Saturday evening in the presence of Chairperson DHAC Ranu Langthasa, Executive Members Nojit Kemprai,  Samuel Changsan, Lalremsiama Darnei, Golonjo Thaosen, Paudaming Nriame, Nipolal Hojai,  Ratan Jarambusa,  Ngamrouthang Hmar, MAC Joysing Durong, Donpainon Thaosen BJP President Dima Hasao, Nirmendu Kemprai Director of Tourism Dima Hasao and many other dignitaries.

Continuous downpours failed to prevent the people as it was the occasion for the people of Haflong held in the heart of Haflong town and was attended by music enthusiasts, music lovers,  dignitaries, and musicians from across the region.

The evening began with a Dimasa traditional dance performance followed by different tribes of traditional dance which kept the audience spellbound.  A series of performances by local musicians, who showcased their talent and creativity through their music were the central attractions of the evening.

Haflong Ethnic Fusion is not just a celebration of music but also a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the region. The event showcased the diversity of the region’s ethnic communities and their unique musical traditions.

Ugen Namgyal Bhutia, a guest artist from Gangtok UNB, lights up the stage during the event with his hip-hop prowess.
