Government Railway Police in Tripura detained three Bangladeshi females who entered into Tripura illegally with the help of border touts in pursuit of a good life and livelihood opportunities. Police said, they entered into Tripura crossing the borders of sonamura in Sepahijala district.  “We have received prior information of their movement and their motive to reach Bengal through train. As soon as they entered into the railway station they were arrested. They would be produced before the Court under relevant sections of the Indian Passport Act,” an on duty police official has said. They are identified as Mousumi,  Jharna and Rehana. All of them hail from Dhaka. Meanwhile, three Indian citizens who had extended logistic support to the Bangladeshi citizen were also arrested from the same spot. They are residents of Sonamura subdivision of Tripura. The accused persons are named as Amjar Alam, Rahima Begum and Maman Hossain. Recently, an uneven spike in cases of border influx has been observed in Tripura borders.
