Dimapur : The All Nagaland Shaolin Kungfu Association (ANSKA) Dimapur District Branch under the leadership of Master Dr. Meyiesielie Albert Sorunuo and Master Dr. David Keneingutuo Sorunuo conducted a Summer Jungle Adventurous Training Course (SJATC) at the ANSKA Training Centre Mengu Village, Chumoukedima District of Nagaland.

The camp was held from 18th to 20th July where young members including the Assistants and the Masters from different branches, and students from Don Bosco School Hr attended. Sec. School, Holy Cross Hr. Sec. School Dimapur and other school students also took part in the three-day camp.

The inaugural programme which took place on 18th July was chaired by ANSKA Gen. Secy. KekhrieselhouTheünuo. Special Guest Thejangulie Kire, Chairman of Mengu Village, Chümoukedima District, hoisted the ANSKA Flag gracing the inaugural programme. He exhorted and challenged the participants to put God ahead of any endeavours and consistently hold the discipline of the Martial Arts world.

The SJATC 2024 saw participants between 9 to 35 years old. Training on Martial Arts Skills, Simple Home Etiquettes and Thriftiness, Self Discipline, Leadership, Treasure Hunt Game, Survival in the Wild Skills, Medicinal Plants collection, Nature Study, etc., were conducted.

All these varieties of programmes and training for young people will help them to develop their personality, labour skills, leadership, survival, responsibilities and above all discipline them to become self-reliant and an asset to their Parents and Society.

Rev. Fr. Jojiang Daniel Gangmei the Coordinator, of Dimapur Province, Don Bosco Sports Academy paid a surprise visit to the training centre encouraging and blessing them with his words.

The three-day Summer Jungle Adventurous Training Course (SJATC) 2024 concluded on the 20th of July with the final bow to the ANSKA Flag down.

The ANSKA thank all its well-wishers and contributors who tirelessly supported the self-surviving association with their ceaseless efforts physically, financially and materialistically. The Association will be looking forward to conducting more such exciting programmes for young people.
