Each leader will be tasked to contact at least one thousand families to secure their support to the party in the Loksabha election
Agartala: Keeping in view the upcoming Loksabha election the BJP has launched its ‘Jana Sampark Abhiyan’ (mass contact programme) from today and this will continue till June 30 all over the state . The programme was set rolling by the prime minister Narendra Modi after offering ‘puja’ in the Pushkar temple in Rajasthan and by addressing a mass rally in Azmer.
Responding to this the Tripura state BJP president Rajeev Bhattacharjee said that the mass contact programme is beginning from today in which the entire party including himself, the chief minister Dr Manik Saha, all other ministers and MLAs and party leaders at the ‘Mandal’ and ward level will take an active part.
He said that to commemorate the past nine years of Narendra Modi’s rule the party will organise rallies and processions in altogether 396 Loksabha constituencies to highlight the achievements of the government as well as a future programme of action for public welfare.
Rajeev said that the prime minister himself will address altogether 52 rallies in as many constituencies and as part of this two rallies will be held in the state-one in either Dhalai or Unakoti district on June 11 while the other will come off in Agartala on June 14. The BJP state president also gave a mobile number 9090902024 where people can make missed call and let the party know their overall impressions and grievances to the BJP leadership.
Rajeev said that the Loksabha constituencies all over the country have been divided into fourteen clusters and all senior leaders of the party including the prime minister will address rallies in them and take part in the campaign. All the party workers will fan out in the Loksabha constituencies and work to ensure a resounding victory for the BJP in the next assembly election.
Each leader will be tasked to contact at least one thousand families to secure their support to the party in the Loksabha election.
