The BJP president made this announcement during an Extended State Executive Meeting of BJP, which is underway at Agartala Town Hall in Agartala.

Speaking with reporters, Bhattacharya mentioned that the meeting is chaired by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Coordinator of NE Sambit Patra, Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, two Lok Sabha MPs including Biplab Kumar Deb and Kriti Singh Debbarma, and Former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma.

“Today, after the Lok Sabha election, Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India for the third tenure, which is historic, and in Tripura, BJP won both the seats. That is why central BJP has decided to hold Extended State Executive Meeting in all the states,” he said.

He said that Central leaders who have come here will hold discussions on PM Modi’s work for development, which we will reach at the grassroots level by passing a resolution.

“Leaders from Mandal, Morchas, Districts, other MLAs, and Ministers are present. We have also held a meeting regarding the Panchayat elections. Yesterday, we had a meeting about the candidate list, and by tomorrow we will declare our Panchayat candidates,” he added.
