Tripura Congress leaders offer floral tribute to the portrait of former chief minister and party stalwart Sudhir Ranjan Majumder in a simple programme organised on the occasion of his birth anniversary in Agartala.
Agartala: Tripura Pradesh Congress observed the birthday of the former Chief Minister Sudhir Ranjan Majumder in a simple program in front of the Congress Bhawan on Friday. Pradesh Congress President and other leaders offered floral tribute to the departed leader.
Sudhir Ranjan Majumder was the Pradesh Congress president in 1978 and under his leadership the party defeated the CPI(M) led Left Front Government and become the Chief Minister of the Congress-TUJS coalition government.
Addressing on the occasion, Birajit Sinha said leaders like Sudhir Rajan Majumder is an inspiration for us and urged the younger generation to follow his path.
