A seminar was held recently at Amarpur Old Town Hall under the initiative of Tripura Dush Sahasi Social Abhiyan Sansthan with the help of Tripura Police Accountability Commission. Member of TTAADC Samrat Jamatia inaugurated the seminar organized on establishing good relations between the police and the public.

Jamatia said that police and public should help and cooperate with each other to maintain law and order. Secretary of Tripura Police Commission Sharadindu Bhattacharya and retired Justice A.K Nath spoke in this seminar.

National Youth Awardee Liton Shil gave the welcome speech. Karbook SDPO Gamanjoy Reang, SDPO of Ampi Tuhin Tripura and others were present in the seminar. Chairperson of Amarpur Nagar Panchayat  Bikash Saha presided over the programme.

Elected public representatives, police officers and police personnel, Anganwadi workers, NSS, scouts and guides along with guardians of the area were present in the seminar.
