A Delhi-bound express train was stopped at Mathura in the middle of its journey on Thursday night to help an ailing passenger who had severe headache and tweeted on Railway polices (GRP) tweeter handle.

The passenger named Ankit Singh who was travelling by Sampark Kranti Express from Kurnool to New Delhi tweeted “I’m having a severe headache and also vomited twice. Not feeling well, need urgent help.

Taking cognizance of his tweet the GRP forwarded it to Agra team.

As soon the train reached Mathura, GRP team was on standby along with railway medical team to attend the passenger who was suffering from severe migraine. Kaushik the passenger later tweeted a “Thank you” note.

This was not the first time when such help came. A couple of other passengers have been extended medical assistance previously after they have tweeted.
