Indian wrestling star Vinesh Phoogat won the bronze medal at the World Wrestling Championships on Wednesday. She is the fourth Indian woman wrestler who bagged such prestigious medal. In 53kg category she defeated her co- wrestler Maria Prevolaraki and ensured her place for Tokyo Olympic.

Prakash Javedkar, Information & Broadcasting ministry congratulate her to enchant history by winning Bronze medal in the World Wrestling Championship and on becoming the 1st Indian wrestler to qualify for Tokyo Olympic. In his tweet he wrote, ‘Nation is proud of your achievement. More power to you’.
