BSF and Assam Police seized a huge quantity of drugs and arrested 3 drug dealers on 2 September.
One Battalion at Badarpur in Karimganj based on secret information, a team of BSF and Assam Police seized 10,000 suspected Yaba tablets.
In addition, the police arrested 3 drug dealers. Two of the traffickers arrested are from Cachar and one from Karimganj district
They are 1) Appan Hussain Lashkar (27 years) of Bhaga Bazar, Dhalai, Cachar., 2) Balaram Goswami (28 years) Chaitanya Nagar, Karimganj 3) Habijul Alam Lashkar (27 years) Bangram, Dholai, Cachar.
