Future Scientists and Innovators Shine at Modern English School’s Spectacular Science and Mathematics Exhibition 2024

Over 300 Students Showcase Innovation and Creativity at the Exhibition

Modern English School, Kahilipara, buzzed with excitement today as over 300 students showcased their cutting-edge projects at the highly anticipated Science and Mathematics Exhibition. The event transformed the school campus into a vibrant hub of creativity and innovation, featuring more than 200 unique projects by students in both solo and group categories.

Students were grouped into three categories: Classes 3-5, Classes 6-8, and Classes 9-11. While the youngest participants had the freedom to choose their topics, older students focused on themes related to Health and Cleanliness, Lifestyle and Environment, Agriculture, Information and Communication Technology, Eco-Friendly Materials, Communication, Transport and Innovation, Computational Thinking, Renewable Energy, Robotics, Space Exploration, Environmental Concerns, Math Games, Mathematics in Real Life, and the Lives of Great Mathematicians, Field Medal Winners and many more.

A distinguished panel of experts, including Dr. Hemen Kumar Kalita, Assistant Professor (Stage II), Department of Physics, Gauhati University, Mr. Pranjal Kr. Baruah, Professor, Department of Applied Sciences, Gauhati University, Mr. Ananta Kalita, Senior Vice-Principal and Dr. Lipika Tamuli, PGT-Biology, Modern English School, Kahilipara meticulously evaluated the projects based on creativity, originality, scientific approach, technical skills, educational value, and other key criteria.

Mrs. Jonali Das, Principal, Modern English School, Kahilipara expressed her admiration for the event, stating, “Our students have demonstrated exceptional creativity. This exhibition embodies our school’s dedication to fostering a hands-on, innovative learning atmosphere.”

Ms. Sushmita Chanda, Vice-Principal and Head of the Science Department at Modern English School, Kahilipara, praised the broad array of exhibitions, stating, “The level of creativity and innovation displayed by our students is truly remarkable. Events like these not only enhance their understanding of scientific concepts but also encourage them to think critically about real-world applications and solutions.”

The exhibition not only highlighted the students’ enthusiasm and depth of knowledge but also reaffirmed Modern English School’s commitment to providing a hands-on, innovative learning environment that prepares students for future challenges. Parents also played a crucial role, encouraging and supporting their children throughout the preparation process, further enriching the educational experience.
