Lake Chandubi is situated at a distance of 65km from Guwahati, Assam India via Mirza. It falls under Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council.
Chandubi Lake was formed on 12th June 1897. An Earthquake that caused the Forest becoming a Lake.
During winter, Chandubi is a home for migratory birds from the West.
It is popular as a picnic place as well for the annual ‘Chandubi Festival’ during the 1st week of January. It is a traditional festival and various cultural dance forms of the local villagers are eye-catching.
