Chief Minister Conrad Sangma of Meghalaya informed through his social media message that an MoU was signed between Government of Meghalaya and University of Berkeley for partnership on Smart Village Movement.

The partnership with the University is planned for five years where the Professor Darwin and the smart village team will be committed to make the selected villages in Meghalaya smarter.

Conrad wrote, ‘we are confident this will ensure that we move forward to make our villages progressive’.
