Lockdown due to the pandemic COVID-19 has put the life of general people to a complete halt. Students communities stranded at a different state are one who suffers most. Considering this fact NERIST Alumni Association Manipur Chapter has found out 20 students from Arunachal Pradesh stranded at Manipur.
Today a team of 7 NERIST Alumni led by N. Somarendro Singh president of NAA Manipur chapter distributed various groceries, daily items and refilled LPG cylinders to the students from Arunachal Pradesh stranded at Manipur. The students were studying at Saina Institute of Medical Sciences, D.M. College, Manipur University, Pandit Deen Dayal Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Theological College, Ukhrul. The assistance is arranged with the generous contributions made by the NERIST Alumni of Manipur.
