Around 40,000 enthusiastic runners participated in Marathons conducted by the three Indian Navy commands on Sunday. Western Naval Command in Mumbai, Eastern Naval Command in Vizag & Southern Naval Command in Kochi conducted the Marathons.

In the Kochi Navy Marathon the men and women in whites along with Kochites turned out as Sea of Greens on 17 November in support of Fit India Campaign and Go Green. More than 3500 men women and children participated in the event.

Over 19,000 Runners took part in the 6th edition of Vizag Navy Marathon. The event received whole hearted support from District Administration, City Police Authorities, numerous volunteers.
