The Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), Daljit Singh Chaudhary, arrived in Shri Bhumi district to inspect the India-Bangladesh border.

His arrival was marked by a BSF aircraft landing at the government school playground, where he was welcomed by BSF IGP, DIG, Shribhumi Police officials, and BSF personnel. A traditional felicitation with gamocha was held at the school ground before he proceeded to the Steamerghat BOP (Border Outpost), located at the India-Bangladesh border in Shribhumi town.

According to sources, the BSF Chief’s visit aims to assess troop deployment and the prevailing situation along the border.
Notably, there has been a rise in Chinese and ISI activities in neighboring countries. Furthermore, anti-India elements imprisoned in Bangladesh have reportedly been released, and incidents of persecution against the Hindu community have increased. In such a critical scenario, the presence of the BSF chief at the Shribhumi border holds significant importance.
