Government of Assam is changing Covid19 protocol from 1st March 2021

In view of rapidly declining cases of COVID19 and given that vaccination is in full swing, Government of Assam has decided to discontinue mandatory testing at railway stations, land routes & airports from March 1, 2021, informed Assam’s Health Minister in a tweet.

It is expected however that people would adhere to Covid appropriate behaviour, the Minister advised.
