In efforts to reach out and salute the sacrifices of the veterans, Kadamtala Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised Armed forces veterans day on 14 January 2021.

The meet was attended by 30 Veterans of the AOR. The Veterans were briefed about various welfare schemes. Issues related to Defence Salary Package, ECHS and CSD facilities were also discussed. The event was conducted while exercising all COVID precautions.

The Assam Rifles is committed towards welfare of veterans and  steps forward for Ameliorating their day to day problems.
