A control room is made functional in the office premises of the Executive Engineer, Silchar Water Resources Division, Silchar with telephone number 03842-233914 to receive and transmit the flood message during the flood season,2021.

Issuing a letter to this effect Executive Engineer Silchar Water Resources Division Silchar stated that the control room is functional round the clock with effect from 1st May and shall be operational till 15th October 2021 and for the period proceeding or succeeding the mentioned normal functioning time as per emergent necessity according to the exigencies of un- precedent flood situation.

It further stated that Baharul Islam Laskar Assistant Executive Engineer will be the overall in-charge of the control room.
