A family is devastated by a cooking gas cylinder.  A fire broke out from a leaking cylinder and parallel to the burning of two houses, the havoc caused a loss of about Rs 50 lakh.

 At the time when the entire State and Country was welcoming the new year 2021 and celebrating, a massive fire broke out in Patharkandi.  Two houses were completely gutted in the blaze.  The incident took place at  Kabariband village No. 1 at around one o’clock in the wee hour of Friday.  Two houses were completely gutted in the blaze.  Two cows were also burnt alive in the blaze.  Sources said the fire caught due to cylinder blast. Immediately getting the news  Firefighters rushed to the spot but before they could reach, valuable worth approx 50 lacs got incinerated.

No one was hurt in the incident
