With the inauguration of two state-of-arts paying cabins by Executive Member, N C Hills Autonomous Council in charge of Health and Family welfare Samuel Changsan, Haflong Civil Hospital equipped with sophisticated facilities and dedicated medical care on Friday.

The inaugural function was attended by Secretary, NCHAC Rebeca Changsan, Joint Director Dima Hasao Health Services Dr. Leena Hakmaosa, Superintendent, M Kachari, Administrator, N Goswami, and others.   

Both the cabin will be maintained by Dima Hasao Health Society and dedicated to gynecological patients. 

Talking to the media EM Changsan said this was a part of the continuous development process of Hospital infrastructure etc. with the initiative of NCHAC and the Hospital Management Society. 

Joint Director Dr. Hakmaosa said people would be benefitted out of this sophisticated paying cabin and she hoped that people would also avail this opportunity and maintain its cleanliness as their own.

Earlier, EM Changsan inspected the Pharmacy of the Haflong Civil Hospital and took stock of the situation, and assured all possible assistance from NCHAC. 

The people of Dima Hasao have many reasons to be happy as it is learnt that ICU services at Haflong Civil Hospital would start on November 15th and free dialysis would start from December 1st week and will be managed by Apollo Hospital.
