State Bank of India Mokokchung Branch celebrates Golden Jubilee (1969-2019). The program was hosted by  Sunil Kr. Tandon, Chief General Manager SBI North East Circle on 18th July.

Tondon said that Mokokchung is one of the most important districts in the state as its Branch is 3rd position in seniority next to Dimapur and Kohima in the state. 

He thanked the 31 thousand plus customers at present for their patronage without which the Bank could not attain this achievement. He also thanked Civil Administration and Civil Societies for their continuous support.  The Jubilee Souvenir was unveiled by the guests.

Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Rajesh Soundararajan extended his heartfelt congratulation to all for the success and achievement in the last 50 years by SBI Mokokchung Branch. He also wished the same will follow in the future as well. He also said that the bank act as a moral agency for all the Central flagship programme in the District. He hopes and expects the bank will give easy access to all the bank facilities to every customers.

Imtipokyim, General Secretary Ao Senden while extending Jubilee greetings, congratulated SBI Mokokchung for achieving the 50 years milestone. He said that the Bank is not only rendering banking sector services to the people but also public sector welfare services in many ways.

I.Sunep Kichu also extended Jubilee Greetings on behalf of Land Owner Kichu Clan Mokokchung Village.

Temsurenla Jamir Chief Manager SBI Mokokchung took the part of introduction of Dignitaries. Traditional welcome by Aongsungkum Culture Club Mokokchung Village, followed by welcome speech by H.Hangsing, Regional Manager SBI Mokokchung Region.

SBI Mokokchung beyond 50 was delivered by Debashish Mitra DGM SBI Administrative Office, Jorhat. The programme ended with benediction by Bendang Jamir Asso. Pastor, MTBA.
