Kaberi Biswas, a resident of Vijaya Apartment, Borthakur Mill Road, Ulubari, passed away on Wednesday following prolonged diseases in a city hospital.

She left behind her husband  Debo  Prasad Biswas, a retired SBI manager, son Shusmit Biswas, an SBI staff, a host of friends and well-wishers.

Residents of Vijaya Apartment and many others mourned her untimely demise.

She had a flair for writing on contemporary issues. She used to contribute write-ups to local vernacular dailies including the Dainik Jugasankha.
