Isaac Paulallungmuan Vaiphei will be the youngest boy to appear class Xth Board in Manipur this coming February.
Issac who hails from Kangvai village of Churachandpur district in Manipur is student of class X in the Mount Olive School which is run by his father Genkholien Vaiphei at his village.
When Genkholien requested permission of the state education department to allow his son to appear in the matric examining a psychology test was conducted by the centre-run Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Imphal.
The results of the test found that Issac’s mental age was 17 years and 5 months, 14 years as his base age and 22 years as terminal age, while his IQ is 141.
“I feel very happy and excited to appear in upcoming board exams’ Issac beamed and said and informed that he studies six hours a day.
Isaac turned 12 on last November 10th and is He is the eldest sibling of the four boys and a girl in the family. Issac says that he drew inspiration from Naina Jaywal , the child prodigy from
Hyderabad who cracked the class Xth broad at the age of eight.
Isaac’s father informed that when his son was about one and half years old, he could speak clearly and insisted to go to school and from then on there was no stopping Issac who had consistently done well.
As par rules, a student has to attain 15 years of age on 1st April to appear in the class Xth examinations. With the education departments go ahead, Issac shall create history and become the youngest in the state of Manipur to appear for Xth boards.
