The leading diagnostic laboratory in the Northeast, BABINA Diagnostic in Imphal at Manipur enters its 40th year of excellence in Medical Diagnostics. Though the observation of the Foundation Day on 9th November was a low-key affair looking into the prevailing situation of Manipur, the organisation has started to offer free service for blood glucose and kidney functions tests between November 8th to November 10 at their main lab in Soibam Leikai in Imphal east. 

BABINA Diagnostic has already offered free diagnostic services to around 800 patients from various relief camps who are being settled due to the ethnic conflict that has taken place since May 3.

Dr. Thangjam Dhabali Singh, Chief Consultant Pathologist & Managing Director of BABINA Diagnostics expresses his gratitude for the remarkable journey of the organization to the various health service providers, and the people of the region. He also shares his deep appreciation for the dedicated workforce of over 300 staff who have played a pivotal role in the growth and success of the organisation. he stresses the importance of providing affordable diagnostic facilities to the people of the Northeast, ensuring that the widest range of diagnostic tests is accessible to everyone.

Among its pioneering achievements, BABINA Diagnostic reached a significant milestone when in 2007 became the first laboratory in Northeast India to be accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).
