In an update LinkedIn has stated that to continue improving how to keep LinkedIn safe, it is substantially growing its content review teams, expanding the number of reviewers in-region
As more people are coming to LinkedIn to share their experiences, ideas and words of encouragement at a time when we need each other the most. While most of these conversations offer support and inspiration, we’ve also seen an increase in negative content. Between October 1 and December 31, 2020, our teams and automated systems removed 620K posts and 1.8M comments that violated our community policies, the update from LinkedIn states.
We’re also improving our automated systems to catch more hateful rhetoric and protect the constructive conversations our members care about. And, we’re giving members new controls to signal to us what they want to see more or less of and the ability to hide a post from their feed or mute an individual or page. These are just some of the ways we’re keeping our community a place where we treat each other with respect and help each other succeed, the professional networking site informed
