Troops of Assam Rifles organised awareness lecture on various ongoing Government Welfare  Schemes at various villages  of  Churachandpur, Pherzawl and Bishnupur District of Manipur on 10 December.

The lecture was conducted with an aim to educate the local populace  & make them aware of Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojna, Sukanya Samridhi Yojna and various other benefits and scheme launched by the Government of India . Approximately 280 civilians voluntarily attended the awareness drive.

Assam Rifles maintained its commitment in spreading the awareness towards the safety and well being of local populace.
