Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 21 Sect and IGAR (E) organised joint security coordination meet with security forces on Wednesday that included 119 TA, Manipur Rifles, IRB, Manipur Police and the local authorities at Newkaiphundai in Manipur’s Tamenglong district.

Matters related to general situations in AOR, development activities, prevention of untoward incidents like extortion, kidnapping & precautions for COVID -19 were discussed.

The aim of the event was to review the security situation in the region and to develop cooperation between the civilians and security forces. Total of 15 security personnel, 17 villager chairman/ village Authority and managers of 2 civil construction companies attended the same.
