The riders departed to explore the iconic places of Manipur
The Freedom Moto Ride was flagged off from the 2nd World War Museum, Naga Heritage Village Kisama, Kohima by Er. Zale Neikha Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports on 9th October 2022.
During the flag-off program, Er. Zale spoke briefly about the significance and history of the rally. He also lauded the courageous efforts of the 75 riders for undertaking the 75-day journey to celebrate Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and spread awareness about fitness.
A special cultural item was performed by Jakhama Youth Organisation in honor of the Freedom Moto Ride. Youth Resources and Sports (YRS) Secretary, Wezope Kenye , Additional Secretary YR&S, Anthony Ngullie, Director YR&S Akumla Chuba, Additional Director YRS Megolha Dolie, and others graced the event.
The riders departed to explore the iconic places of Manipur where District Administration and Police personnel accompanied the bikers to the Khuzama check gate.
The ride to celebrate 75 glorious years of India’s independence will cover 75 famous landmarks in 75 days. It was flagged off by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on 9th September and shall cover a distance of 18000 kms.
