The recent outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a Novel Coronavirus (named “COVID- 2019”) has gained wide attention globally. It has been recognized as a serious public health threat. Therefore, to assess the level of awareness regarding COVID-2019 all over the world and their readiness to deal with the outbreak, National Level E-Quiz on Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19): Awareness and Readiness, was organized by Prof. Pradip Lingfa, Regional Coordinator and Dr. T. Patel, Coordinator of Regional Coordinating Institute (RCI), Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh from 10^th -15^th July 2020.

The quiz was organized at a National Level but also received participation from Overseas Countries such as the Philippines, Argentina, Nepal, Egypt, Malaysia Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Kuwait, Manila, Indonesia, Turkey and the United States. The outstanding performer participants were issued and distributed E-certificate for their participation.
