Kadamtala Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised an online counseling session for local youth for recruitment into Armed Forces under COB Jaliura, Cachar District on 10 May 2021.

During the pandemic and restrictions imposed due to Covid protocol, Assam Rifles innovated to connect with the youths in online mode taking advantage of the technology and reach available now in the remotest corner of the region.

The youth were motivated and were educated using WhatsApp calls about various aspects, requirements, and processes for selection. A total of 15 youth participated willingly with enthusiasm in the counseling session.
