The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has long been committed to skill development and a curriculum that prepares students for competitive exams, shaping them into future global leaders. In alignment with this vision, Pranabananda International School has been dedicated to imparting skill-based education since its inception in 2015. This commitment led to the school obtaining CISCE affiliation in 2023, making it the first CISCE-affiliated school in Barak Valley.

This year, the school achieved yet another milestone by successfully conducting the first-ever ICSE examination in the region. As an official examination center, Pranabananda International School hosted 24 students for the ICSE 2025 examinations, which concluded on March 27, 2025. Many parents extended their gratitude to the dedicated faculty for their unwavering efforts in preparing the students.

The examinations commenced on February 18 and concluded on March 27, 2025, with results expected to be announced in the first week of May. Speaking about the anticipated outcomes, Roshan Chanda, one of the school’s registrars, said, “I am confident that our students will score above 90%. They have worked extremely hard, and I believe their efforts will be reflected in the results.”

Another registrar, Panna Paul, expressed his optimism, saying, “I have full faith in our students. They have shown incredible dedication, and I am certain they will perform beyond our expectations.”

Exam Convener Jumi Sahu also shared her thoughts, stating, “The entire process went smoothly, and I am extremely satisfied with how the students approached their exams. Their discipline and preparation were commendable.”

Principal Dr. Partha Pradip Adhikari assured that the examinations were conducted in strict compliance with CISCE protocols, from the collection of stationery to the secure dispatch of answer sheets. He added, “I am confident that our students will perform exceptionally well. This achievement is a testament to the hard work of our teachers and staff, and I am grateful to everyone who contributed to the smooth execution of the examinations.”

He also extended his gratitude to Mr. Ajit Adhikari of Holy Cross School, Dharmanagar, who was appointed as the special coordinator for the ICSE examination by CISCE, and Mr. S. Dilip Singh, Principal of PVM Ganganagar, who served as the supervising examiner for the wholesome support for the smooth conduct of the examination. He further thanked all the teachers and staff for their support in ensuring the successful conduct of the examinations.  He also expressed his gratitude to Father Jilson Chollanal of Holy Cross H.S.School, Agartala, Convener of ICS E 2025 Examination, for unwavering guidance during the whole process and also to Father George Jacob, who inspected the school as official Exam Centre Inspector, for flawlessly supervising the process of examination.

To mark the successful completion of the ICSE 2025 examination, a special felicitation ceremony was held on the final day. Mr. Ajit Adhikari was honored with a portrait of himself, beautifully created by Ketan Debroy, as a token of appreciation for his invaluable contribution. The gesture was warmly received and added to the celebratory atmosphere.

With this historic achievement, Pranabananda International School has further cemented its reputation for academic excellence, reinforcing its dedication to skill-based education and preparing students for future competitive challenges.
