Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) announced the results of SAIL Story Writing Competition – 2024 today. SAIL had launched this story writing competition in Hindi and English languages on January 2, 2024, in which storytellers from across the country participated enthusiastically. The theme of this competition was “You, Me and SAIL”. Through their stories, the participants not only showcased their creativity but also highlighted SAIL’s connection with the country and society. The list of winners in this competition in Hindi and English languages is as follows:

List of Hindi Language Winners:

1st Prize winner: Ms Poonam Yadav from Burnpur, West Bengal

2nd Prize winner: Mr. Sharad Kumar Verma from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

3rd Prize winner: Ms.  Binita Kumari from Bokaro, Jharkhand

Consolation prize winners: 1:  Ms. Ruma Bharti from Ranchi, Jharkhand

                                        2: Dr. Nirupama Kumari from Bokaro, Jharkhand

List of English Language Winners:

1st Prize winner: Mr. Advay Sahai from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

2nd Prize winners: Mr. Milind Sengupta from Burnpur, West Bengal 

3rd Prize winners: 1 .Mr. Vijoy Chandra Tiwari from Bokaro, Jharkhand

                             2. Mr. Chinta Siva Santosh Dharma Kowshik from Burnpur, West Bengal

Consolation prize winners: 1.Mr. Krishan Shetty from Bengaluru, Karnataka

                                         2.   Ms. Prita from Bokaro, Jharkhand

                                         3.    Mr. Arvind Yadav from Burnpur, West Bengal

The SAIL Story Writing Competition – 2024 was aimed at inspiring people of all ages to unleash their imaginations, sharpen their writing skills and also to make people aware of SAIL’s contribution towards Nation’s development and society. This competition also encouraged budding writers and storytellers to use their imagination and creativity to create stories.

The company will provide attractive prizes and certificates to the winners of this competition. Along with this, The award winning stories will also be published in SAIL’s in-house magazine “SAIL News”.
