Churchandpur is all set for a grand show during the Sangai Festival on Thursday. 

Special appearance by former Miss Universe 2000  Lara Dutta on Saturday at Robert Naorem’s fashion show along with numerous cultural shows.

Chief Minister of Manipur N. Biren Singh will inaugurate at Geljang Resort, Khuga along with the celebration at the border village Behiang later in the evening.

This three-day event would showcase the rich cultural flavour, blend of traditional and western music, food and cuisines, adventure sports, indigenous games, artworks, etc of the district.

A flavour of indigenous games like pole climbing, water zorbing, video on tourism potentials, boating, live weaving, art, and photo exhibitions. are also on the list.

DC Sharath Chandra Arroju said there would be free transportation for travelers will be arranged for all venues. Besides, entry will be free at all the venues.
