Starex University School of Commerce and Management celebrated World Entrepreneurs’ Day to create awareness for entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership among youth.
“Entrepreneurs are pivotal as agents who recognize opportunity, mobilise resources and create value to sustain economic development with the Start-up plan and extensively employed more than five lakhs employment opportunities by 2021,” said Dr. Sanchita Bansal of University School of Management, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University while addressing the Webinar on ‘Start-up Landscape’
Dr Sanchita Bansal narrated a beautiful story in form of a case study about a girl who turned into an entrepreneur and took benefit of the Start-up India scheme and how she is balancing her profession and family.
She also highlighted the challenges and opportunities of establishing an enterprise and apprised the audience about different Government initiatives available to start a new venture.

Earlier Dr S.L. Vasishta Registrar delivered the welcome address and explained the motto ‘ Nune Est Semper’ of Starex University. Prof. B. B. Tiwari Dean presented a citation on the achievements of the speaker of the day Dr Sanchita Bansal. Prof. D.R. Aggarwal proposed a vote of thanks.
