The Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), Government of Nagaland, in association with Tuensang Hills Accolade Society (THAS) Tuensang, will be organising Band Beat contest under the theme ‘A Ticket to Hornbill’, the winner of Tuensang district will directly take part in Hornbill Music Festival 2019 Dimapur.

For Choirs, Nagaland Choirs Olympics, which the winners of the district level will represent Tuensang district on grand finale which will be on 23rd October 2019 at RCEMPA Jotsoma, Kohima. The winner will get a chance to perform in the World Choir games 2020 at Belgium also.

THAS has requested all the young talented youths across Tuensang district, not only those who resides in district hq, or tribal Hqs, but also from the village level not to miss the big opportunity. The THAS also prayerfully requested the Churches within the Tuensang district to promote young talented youths to take part in the form of Gospel Band and Church Choirs.
