“To protect the environment, we have to adopt needonomics school of thought with precautions from growth beyond limits,” said Kurukshetra based Professor M. M. Goel, former Vice-Chancellor and Founder Needonomics School of Thought. He was addressing the participants of a webinar on the topic ‘Needonomics for Pandemic India’ organised by AES Amity University, Greater Noida. Dr. Pooja Singh convener delivered a welcome address and presented a citation on the achievements of Needonomist Professor M.M. Goel.

To secure the recovery from the pandemic, we have to boost Needo-financing as justified by the heads of IMF, WHO, WTO, and World Bank group at all levels, mentioned the needonomist Goel.

To face the covid crisis with courage, we have to keep away from the negative people who see problems in the solutions too and become a part of the solutions team in the economy without any ifs and buts by remaining careful and useful Indians told the needonomist Goel.

To be simply good consumers, producers, distributors, and traders in the pandemic era, we have to adopt the principle of  needonomics based on spiritually guided materialism strategy flowing from the logo of LIC of India ‘Yogakshemam Vahamyaham’(Your welfare is our responsibility) flowing from  Gita, believes Professor Goel.

For saying no to the socio-economic problems caused by greedonomics (economics of greed) including ‘cobra effect’ of debt (making solutions worsening the problem with unhappy consequences), corruption, terrorism, exploitation, and discrimination, we have to adopt needonomics with Needo-consumption, told Professor Goel.

To be richer than the wealthiest in a real sense, we have to be contented and say no more is needed, believes the needonomist Goel.

We have to be alert, aware, and awake with Vivek for the implications of the pandemic and change lifestyle based on needonomics with needolove (love for needs) and motivate people for vaccination, said needonomist Goel.

The economy can be made consumer-friendly by adopting NAW (Need, Affordability, and Worth) approach of marketing with a focus on the need-based priorities in choices of all kinds explained Professor Goel.
