Around  2 thousand 195 pregnant women have benefited in Jolaibari block under Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. In this scheme, financial assistance of 6 thousand rupees is given to each beneficiary in three annual installments. This financial assistance is given to pregnant women to consume nutritious food.
