Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on 15th August visited North Majlishpur village to witness wall paintings of the freedom fighters. Information & Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Choudhury was present along with the Chief Minister during the visit.
Images of the freedom fighters have been painted on the walls of every household in North Majlishpur village of Jirania sub-division on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The Chief Minister was received at the Mukut Community Hall of the village. The Chief Minister lauded the initiative of wall painting under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
He hoped that this initiative shall motivate and inspire the present generation.
