As the Central Government settles in motion for a third consecutive term under PM Shri @narendramodi, as the first sitting of the new Parliament commences with the swearing in of all the newly elected MPs, on behalf of the people of Manipur and as a Representative of the people of Manipur, want the PM to take up swift and effective steps needed to bring peace and normalcy in the State. The people of Manipur want and seek certain concrete measures and steps to be taken up on priority during the ongoing Parliament Session.

.As passed by the Manipur Legislative Assembly unanimously, Strict action in the form of abrogating SOO against those insurgent groups who have violated ground rules to be initiated at the earliest. All the camps of these SOO groups have been strategically located at hill tops encircling the whole valley, thus the removal of all such camps from such locations for the safety of the people is of utmost importance without any further delay. Violence across the State has to be stopped at all cost, thus disarmament of all weapons across the State.

.As passed in the resolution by the Ruling Legislators during the recent Manipur Assembly, immediate implementation of NRC in Manipur, to identify the real citizens of the country, and at the same time completion of identification of all illegal migrants as started by the Central and State Government within a short timeframe and deport all people coming from other neighbouring countries.

.As announced earlier by the Central Government to fence the whole Indo-Myanmar border, Completion of such fencing of the border should be done at the earliest.

.To ensure effective abolition of FMR as announced earlier by the Central Government.

.To protect the indigenous people of the State of Manipur especially for those who are not covered by any special provisions, a Special Status maybe given to such indigenous people/groups and communities as deemed fit under the Constitution of India, for the protection and identification of such indigenous groups. A detailed discussion with the central government can take place for grant of such kind of Special Status.

.Territorial Integrity of the State to be protected at all cost.
