The Precursor to 1st Nagaland CSR, Investment and Banking Conclave, 2022 kick-started at the State Banquet Hall, Kohima, Nagaland on July 4.

The CSR conclave will be the first of its kind in Nagaland and is being organized by Investment and Development Authority (IDAN).

The Government of Nagaland had to postpone the CSR, Investment & Banking Conclave with the theme “Partnerships for Strengthening Sustainable Development”, which was scheduled to be held from  July 4 and to conclude on July 6, in Kohima. This was done due to unforeseen circumstances, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has rescheduled her visit and therefore the State Government has taken the decision to postpone the conclave. New dates for the conclave will be informed once the Finance Minister’s fresh schedule is finalised.

Chief Minister of Nagaland was the Chief Guest of the function and informed the gathering that Union finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman who was supposed to addend the conclave will be coming to Nagaland later at a convenient date. Rio echoed ‘I hope this curtain raiser event would encourage the stakeholders to develop meaningful & long-term partnership with the State in its growth’

Earlier in the week the CEO of IDAN, Alemtemshi, while briefing the officers, stated that the CSR conclave is one step towards the many positive changes coming to the state. He stated that various companies have shown their interest in investing in Nagaland and expect fruitful participation. He highlighted that there will be business-to-business and business-to-government interactions and bankers conclave during the event as well.
